The following four photos are some unbelievable cars that Bruce and Sid brought in at the tail end of our Redline Guys Show. What a "Grand Finale" ! They had purchased them THAT DAY from a former Mattel employee! The Steerable cars have a Redline wheel in the center of the windshield that you would turn with your finger and "steer" the car with. The "Music" Continental has a rolling mechanism that would turn as the car rolled and would create music! These are some of the oddities they were thinking about creating. If you look at the back of this 1971-72 blisterpack, you'll notice the car that they depict for the steering mechanism called "Drivin' Gear" (Same car - Custom Continental!)
